Multilevel systems and packers
CMT Multilevel System
CMT (Continuous Multichannel Tubing) is a reliable and economical multilevel monitoring system for depths until 60m. There are 2 versions of the CMT: a model with 7 channels (43mm) and a model with 3 channels (28mm). Both consist for a flexible, extruded PE pipe with inside channels isolated from each other and running the entire course of the pipe. Monitoring of groundwater or soil gas in the unsaturated zone can be done in 7 different zones in one single borehole by establishing ports on the outside of the pipe in the desired depths. The ports are connected to the different channels and the finished system is lowered into the borehole. The monitoring zones are isolated from each individually by packing filter sand and bentonite around the pipe.
With the CMT system it is possible to 3-D monitor the groundwater flow. Water sampling and level measurement can be done with different equipment such as peristaltic pumps, foot valve pumps and slim water level meters.

Waterloo Multilevel System
The Waterloo System is used to obtain groundwater samples, hydraulic head measurements and permeability measurements from many discretely isolated zones in a single borehole - can be used in depths until 300m. Each system is designed and assembled to specifically match an application. Monitoring equipment such as pumps, pressure transducers etc. is dedicated to each port and connected to the well head at the surface.

Rotek "Self locking Packer"
Rotek’s self locking packers are especially developed for 2” boreholes. The packer effectively seals of the hole, so no surface water can stream down the well and can be installed in any depth. The packer is made from PET, which is an inert material.
