Biodegradeable pipes and screens
Biodegradable pipes and screens from Rotek are manufactured from a
carefully selected bio-based material, which is EN 13432 certified.
The material is fully compostable and meets a number of requirements
in regard to the rate of biodegradation, no visual contamination after
composting, and no adverse effect on the compost process or the compost
itself. Rotek’s biodegradable pipes and screens do not leave
any microplastics.
In addition, the material is suitable for making pipes with excellent
mechanical properties matching those of Rotek’s standard plastic
products.
Rotek BIO pipes and screens
The pipes are assembled easily and quickly with a double socket coupler. The filters are welded to the bottom, so no bottom plug is needed. Other dimensions can be produced on request.
